Pacegrove Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

Pacegrove is provided by Oleg Yakushin. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@olegotka.es.

Health and training

With your permission, Pacegrove reads running workouts, dates, distance, duration, heart rate, active energy and elevation from Apple Health to calculate training estimates and plans. These calculations and cached workouts are stored on your device. A completed recorded run is written to Apple Health only when you choose to save it there.

Location and Apple Maps

Route recording uses your location, including background location while a run is being recorded, and stores the GPS trail on your device. Map display, place searches and walking-route calculations use Apple Maps. Search queries and planned route coordinates are sent to Apple through its mapping services; Apple handles these requests under its own privacy terms. Pacegrove does not operate a server that receives your workout history or recorded GPS trails.

Selected pictures

Pictures you select for GPS Art are processed on your device to extract an outline. Saved routes contain the outline and route geometry. Pacegrove does not upload the selected pictures to its own server.

Subscriptions

Payments and subscription billing are handled by Apple through your App Store account. Pacegrove uses verified StoreKit transactions to determine Premium access and does not receive your payment-card details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Exports and support

When you export or share a GPX file, it can contain route coordinates and, for a recorded run, timestamps. The destination you choose may store or share the file under its own terms. If you email support, we receive the information you include so we can respond. Avoid sending health records or precise location unless they are needed for your request.

Storage and your choices

Pacegrove does not require an app account or include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. Profile settings, plans, workout caches and routes are stored locally. Widget summaries are shared with the app’s widget on the same device. Local data may be included in backups according to your device settings. You can remove saved routes in the app, change Health and location permissions in iOS Settings, or remove the app’s local storage by deleting the app. Records already saved in Apple Health are managed separately in the Health app.
